The Power of Movement & Accountability
The Power of Movement & Accountability
This morning during my 6 am walk, the sky was unusually clear for Paris. Stars sparkled above, Orion was visible (!!!!), and the moon was shining bright. Standing near the majestic Alexandre III Bridge, I felt a deep sense of gratitude.
For the past three years, I’ve stepped outside at dawn, year-round. From dark, cold winter mornings, to breathtaking sunrises. I’ve been there. Not alone, but with my morning accountability partner. We are a great team. Together, we’ve tried it all: yoga, running, Nordic poles, brisk walks, strengthening bands, jumping rope, and seasonal routines. We’ve adapted through life’s ups and downs. The key? Accountability. Consistency. Flexibility.
I am aware that movement isn’t always easy. When the temperature changes, when there is less light, when energy dips, or when change feels overwhelming, resistance shows up. Many of my clients - knowledge workers and professionals going through life transitions - face similar challenges. Long hours at work, busy schedules. And yet, movement is essential. It fuels the brain, boosts mood & restores clarity.
As autumn approaches, with its slower rhythms, I invite you to pause and reflect: “What kind of movement supports me right now?” There is no single recipe. A 5-minute stretch at home, a brisk walk before or after work, or a weekend activity can be a great start. The real shift comes when you discover your personal movement formula - when there is a shift from “I need to move” to “I want to move” and you integrate it into your daily routine.
You will know you have found what works for you, on those days when you are feeling saturated and drained. When after moving, you feel lighter, happier, and ready to move forward onto your next task of the day. These are the moments to catch, keep, and repeat.

So, I’ll leave you with this reflection:
When emotions build up or your mind feels saturated, what is your default habit? And what’s the one habit you know could help, but isn’t in place yet?
This is where coaching makes a difference. Together, we uncover what drains and restores your energy - and build sustainable habits that carry you forward. With accountability, you stop overthinking and start moving into action.
If you’re ready to bring more joy into your movement and more courage into your actions, send me message. Let’s explore how you can design your personal movement formula for clarity, energy, and consistency.
