A Moment To Pause At Rodin Museum Garden
You know that moment when you unroll your yoga mat and for the next 60 minutes, all external distractions are paused?
No phone.
No notifications.
Nothing to read, to respond, to prepare.
Your awareness slowly shifts back to your breath, your body, your mind.
Your yoga mat, that space that is familiar, becomes a container: for focus, for movement, for stillness, and awareness.
That’s exactly how I feel every time I walk into the Rodin Museum Garden.
It feels (to me) like a welcoming yoga mat.
The moment I step outside, my shoulders relax.
My eyes soften, looking for roses.
My nose finds the rose, that makes my eyes close, so that all my attention takes in the scent, with a deep inhale.
Autumn is here. The trees signal change, inspiring me to take the next step.
This is my place to regroup, recenter, and realign.
Today’s reflection that I want to share here:
Seasons change slowly, quietly, and we are allowed to change with them.
Today we can take the next micro step to transition with presence and awareness.
Today we can choose, to shift our attention, where is needed the most.
Today we can pause the scroll, to let the mind restore.
My question for you today:
Where can you find a pocket of presence in your day?
Only you know the answer.
